Food Assistance

Food Assistance for Military Families

It is estimated that more than 25% of active-duty military families and 10% of veteran families in our area need assistance with food.

The ASYMCA El Paso’s Food Market combats this issue in the community we serve. This program helps military families worry less about food and focus on mission readiness.

Program Overview

Active duty and veteran families that could use a little help with groceries can bring an ID with the appropriate service distinction to our Junior Enlisted Family Center; there, they can choose the groceries their family wants and needs, perishables included, free of charge.

First come, first served. No registration is required.

The Food Market operates out of the Junior Enlisted Family Center, Wednesday through Friday.
